Sauté together until bacon is almost cooked, then add ¾ cup Pure Maple Syrup.
Continue to cook until bacon is crispy.
Add to bacon mixture:
2.5 lbs ground beef and cook until brown. Remove from heat and drain off fat.
- 1 can 398ml maple baked beans
- 2 cans 796ml chopped tomatoes
- 2-4 tbsp red pepper flakes
- 2 cups Pure Maple Syrup
- 3 cups water
- 3 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tbsp onion powder
- 1 tbsp season salt
if you cannot get double smoked bacon – 2tsp liquid smoke
