Maple Vegetable Glaze
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 tsp. cinnamon (optional)
- 1 cup maple syrup
- 6-8 cups of your favorite vegetables (carrots, cauliflower, squash, turnip etc.)
Steam vegetables until tender and set aside.
To make the sauce, melt butter in a skillet and add maple syrup and cinnamon. Pour over steamed vegetables, add salt and pepper and enjoy.
Variations: wash your vegetable (i.e. turnip or squash) add butter and syrup, salt and pepper.
Mix well and enjoy.
